The institutional video of the XIVth Habanos Festival was also presented to the audience while they were given the opportunity to understand the meaning of these Festivals. In addition, they were urged to attend the 520th anniversary that marks the discovery of the tobacco by the Old World.
In the event, both the chairman of the Sotabac Premium Cigars and importer for the Canary Islands for more than 50 years, Mr. Gregorio Socorro Soto and the patriarch of the Cuban originated Son music Compay Segundo’s sons, were presented with H.Upmann Noellas crystal jars because of their valuable contribution to the culture of the Habano for many years.
Later on, the cigars mentioned were tasted by the people attending the event together with Cuban cocktails mixed with Caney Rum as well as typical Cuban tapas, all accompanied by the traditional Cuban music.
